The NRI Niwas is very conveniently situated next to the Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib and the Langar Hall. There are 80 rooms over 3 floors for which a lift is available for the disabled or the elderly.

There is a communal kitchen where you can prepare food and warm milk for children. In the communal reception area there is a library and a water cooler.

Every room is furnished with two double beds, chairs & a table, cupboard, air conditioning units, and running hot water. Each room has an ensuite which includes an european toilet, sink and shower.

The windows are fitted with fine mesh to protect from the flies coming in. The floor is marble and there is a cupboad for your luggage and a worktop where you can make yourself tea and prepare breakfast.

You are provided with clean bedding at the start of your visit.

It is advised that you arrange to book the rooms in advance. You can also book as you arrive there provided there are vacant rooms.

You need not take any winter clothes, as the weather over there is always warm. Seats on the train should be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. You can also book on the internet.
