Guru Gobind Singhji NRI Trust Charity

The Guru Gobind Singhji NRI Trust is the charity which has collected all the funds used to build the NRI Niwas at Nanded.

The charity number is 1083406.

The NRI Trust are now in the process of planning other similar NRI Niwas' in Amritsar.

With the same idea and need as for the NRI Niwas at Nanded, a foundation stone has been laid for an NRI Niwas (Hostel) at Darbar Sahib Amritasr on the 16th June 2005 for the Sangat’s comfort. It is expected to be completed within the next two years.

The NRI Trust are also planning to build the Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall at Hazoor Sahib within six months.

The Vanjara and Sikleegar community are the followers of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The main stream Sikh community has neglected these communities for a long, long time. These poor communities have no permanent place to settle and educate their children. To bring these people into our fold we need to show that we do care about all the poor and the needy Sikh wherever they are. We need to follow the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to Vand Shako (SHARE WITH THE NEEDY) and do something practical and positive.

The Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall will give them the sense of belonging to the proud and prosperous Sikhs of the world and fulfil the basic needs of these deserving people. This objective can be achieved only with the help, support and co-operation of the genourous Sikh Sangat.

After the completion of this project , a niwas Asthan (hostel) for the Sangat is being considered for Anandpur Sahib as well as at Hemkund Sahib.

Donation for the rooms, furniture, air condition or bedding can be sent by cheque made payable to Guru Gobind Singh Ji NRI Trust.

We can come to you and collect the donation. You will get a receipt on the spot with the charity number 1083406. A CD of Hazoor Sahib and a membership card will be sent to you. By producing this membership card you will get a preference to book a room at these places.

Of you want to donate for the full cost of the room, a name plate with your name affixed in front of the room. The cost of a 2-single-Bedroom is £2,500.00. The cost of a 2-Double Bedroom is £3,000.00. You have also got an option to pay in instalments over 2 years.
